THe Sentinal Satellite Page 2

“So, what we are today is not what we were originally created to be?”

  It was a confident response.

  “No, I’m afraid not.”

“I guess what I am asking is, is it possible that the aggressive alien strain has already eradicated the last record of what our creation was intended to be. Are we now completely this alien form?”

“Are you are asking if we are now this alien species that inserted their aggressive DNA code into ours?”

“Yes. Is the takeover process complete? Are you now this alien species?”

“No, at least not yet. Presently we are only approximately twenty percent alien.”

He seemed pleased to hear that humans are not, at least yet, alien. He asked,

“How long before the changes become physically noticeable?”

“Well, never. It happens so slowly that we would just call our mutated changes the result of evolution. We are already taller than before. As well, some suggest that our brain capacity has developed faster than the progression of normal evolution.”

  Gustav intervened,

“I see. If you cannot purge this genetic take-over, do you have any idea what will we eventually look like in another 500 years?”

“Yes, I have created a computer program that ages the mutation to maturity. I must admit whatever alien life form has done this to us, their shape is not too far removed from our appearance. I think that’s why over hundreds of generations we would not notice much of a difference.”

True to the ego of a man who ruled the world, Gustav had only one concern, himself. He asked,

“What will become of my kind, the last of the true Nephilim?”

“Well, you are not a pure Nephilim. You are half-human. You carry alien DNA but not the same strain that is taking over the human form. I am still at a loss as to why I cannot identify and isolate the code you have in your DNA. That’s part of what the conference is all about as well.”

Knowing that he was a half-breed of the elusive Nephilim code and therefore not in danger of conversion by this so-called Passive Genetic Colonization did not prevent his concern for those he ruled. True to the mandate of the House of the Nazarene to protect the human race and preserve the creation, he asked,

“Can you stop this genetic takeover, prevent it from happening?”

“I think so. The problem is that even though you have the most powerful computers on earth, I still do not have the computer capacity needed to get exact gene identification of that alien strain. I need to isolate and identify it before creating programs to eradicate it. We will be discussing ways and means to combat it at the conference. To make matters worse and almost impossible, for a genetic comparison I need a sample code of pure human DNA. I need to know its pristine code before the aliens infused theirs into ours.”

For the first time, Gustav smiled and said,

“Well, I think I can help you out with that. The House of the Nazarene has extensive DNA records of the aliens we have been involved with over the centuries.”

Pleasantly surprised, she complicated the gift by asking,

“Make me happy and say you also have a pristine human code as well.”

  He smiled and said,

“Yes, practically from the time of creation.”

There was still the problem of computer capacity as well as separation of the codes to be ironed out. However, the records he has just admitted to having would certainly make the work easier. She said,

“Thank you. I will analyze those DNA strains when I get back from the conference.”

  He replied,

“They will be waiting for you here in my office.”

She understood how impossible it was to find uncontaminated human DNA before the aggressive infusion. Looking for pure human DNA from 10,000 years ago seemed impossible. Although a daunting task to save humanity, Maria saw it as a challenge to be greedily accepted. As she left his office, coffee cup still in hand, she said,

“On a separate note, I fear that even your Nephilim DNA strain, as pure as you have attempted to keep it through the generations, may already be decaying and losing its ability to retain your status as a Nephilim.”

He did not seem surprised to hear it.

“Yes, that has always been a fear of those of us who carry the mark of angels. After you return from the seminar, I shall ask you to look into preserving that mark for us. Keep in mind that my DNA is the Holy Grail of the Nephilim.”

  Maria smiled and responded,

“Even though your so-called mark of the angels has evolved through the generations do not worry too much about it. I doubt if you will ever evolve to have wings and a halo.”

As he sneered at her insubordination, Maria closed the office door behind her.

  Chapter 3

  The Duchess and Her Lies

Unfortunately, as Grays age there are no characteristic features signifying wisdom or even looking distinguished. To Grays there was only one feature that marked age, they became unsightly. When the Duchess stood in front of the aged Island of Oblivion Overseer, she was repulsed by sagging gray skin and large black eyes seemingly ready to fall out of their sockets.

He sat at his desk staring at the Duchess with the same repulsive glare she was aiming at him. After six years of imprisonment, she was far from the beautiful vibrant woman who once led the House of Nazarene. Her treasured long dark hair was now merely a jumble of knots and tangles. Gaunt eyes had lost their once alluring twinkle. A smile that once greatly influenced kings and won many hearts was now but a memory.

Wearing the typical prison attire of the island, a simple white frock, she stood defeated before the old Gray. Using a language that had always been difficult for the Grays, the Overseer struggled to say,

“May I presume that you do not like living on our little utopian island?”

Despite a defeated appearance, with a crackly voice no longer accustomed to talking, her tongue was sharp and unkind.

“It is an island belonging to hell. I do not understand why you do not simply kill those poor scientists. It would be a much kinder fate.”

“The answer to that my dear human is that we, unlike you, do not kill. The Creator granted life and therefore is the only authority that may take it away. Perhaps if you had honored our philosophy and not killed Kalian there would have been no need to send you here for punishment. It is only because we once had a connection to the Great House of the Nazarene that we honored Gustav Magnus Laurent’s request to have you sent here for punishment. Trust me when I say that your unholy act caused a great rift in our government. The last thing we wanted was a sullied human defiling our sanctified planet.”

She braced and prepared the lies she had practised countless times in her head.

“Because I was once a great leader of the House of the Nazarene I am fully aware of why you came to Earth. I know that you came to convert us to your faith.”

  He was quick to interject,

“It is true that we created your faith. Best you remember that when you kneel to pray. It is to us that you pray. We are the angels in your holy writings. We are the ones who attempted to guide you to live within the glory of peace. We taught you the ways of our God. Still, you ignored our gift to make you better. We gave you commandments to live by and you chose to ignore them. Despite our gift to humans, you continued to wage war. For that reason we turned our backs on you. As for you, you killed Kalian and for that you are here to suffer for your crime against our faith.”

More practiced words spewed from the mouth of the Duchess.

“No. You have fallen afoul of lies and deceit. You saw the false evidence that Gustav Magnus Laurent plotted against me. He was the one who wanted to overthrow you as ruler of the House of the Nazarene, not I. You saw how he plotted to rule the world by bring back ancient kingdoms with puppet kings. You saw how he plotted to destroy the Vatican so that he might initiate his own faith far removed from yours. He is the murderer and traitor, not me.”

>   She cunningly added to her false defence by pandering to their massive egotistical pride as the superior creation in the known universe.

“I know that you are the superior creation of God as well as the true ruler of the House. I was a victim of Gustav Magnus Laurent’s ambition to banish you as leader so that he might rule the world.”

She felt that she was losing him. Quick to appease, agreeing with what she knew to be wrong, she said,

“I am loyal to you because I understood and believed in what you had done to us. I had fully converted to your religious philosophy. For that reason, I could never kill. Despite the lies told as well as the false evidence shown, I did not kill Kalian.”

The old Gray tried to raise tired eyes to meet hers but only got as high as her waist. He said,

“So I should believe you instead of Gustav Magnus Laurent?”

The Duchess stood strong and the lies came easier.

“Yes. You were lied to and presented false evidence.”

  Unbelieving, he uttered,

  “What purpose did that serve?”

More skillful words flowed like honey.

“In the past few generations, you have been pleased to see that your great enemy the Anunnaki are on a slow path to extinction.”

The old Gray snorted and seemed pleased to say,

“Yes. We despise the Anunnaki. Thankfully, they have reached the end of their evolutionary time. Their genetic code is decaying and soon will be no more.”

The first spike in her master plan was driven in hard. She stood strong and said,

  “Or so you think.”

Not accustomed to deceit and evil plots, the old Gray was easily reeled in.

  “Explain yourself.”

More lies disgorged from her treacherous mouth.

“I was framed because I had discovered a criminal plot by a geneticist working for the House of the Nazarene. She is helping the Anunnaki to take over Earth by a system referred to as ‘passive genetic colonization’. If she succeeds in converting human DNA to Anunnaki, soon they will be great in numbers and Earth will no longer be yours.”

There was no mistaking the frown on the old face. Her lie was doing what she had only dreamed it would. He was clearly shocked to his very core. For generations the Great Grays had revelled in the glory of the Anunnaki’s inevitable extinction. Now the devastating disclosure that it might not happen was pumping his old worn out heart faster than it should. In shock, he could think of only one weak question,

“Who is this diabolical traitor to the human race?”

The Duchess seemed very pleased to say,

“She is the Head Scientist to the House of the Nazarene, Professor Maria Espinoza.”

He may be old but he still had the sense to be suspicious. It was simply too much to believe but too diabolical to ignore. Wrapped in suspicion he asked,

“Why are you telling me all this?”

With shoulders back, chin up, she smugly began step two in a multi-step plot.

“Because with your help I can stop Maria Espinoza from helping the Anunnaki prolong their degrading genetic code.”

She was pleased to see him nibbling at the bait. He then asked a slow and suspicious question.

“Just what would my help entail?”

“For one thing you can release me from that cursed island and get me back to Earth.”

“I see. When you get there how will you stop this Maria Espinoza from helping the Anunnaki reverse their genetic extinction?”

Although it was impossible for Great Grays to squint, it appeared that he was trying to when saying,

“Keep in mind that it is still our planet.”

The Duchess was smart enough to realize that she could not reveal her true purpose. The preservation of all God-given life had been the ultimate mandate of the Grays. With that in mind, again the lies flowed easily.

“I will stop her from helping them.”

“What will you need from me?”

“I will need control of the Sentinel Satellite hovering above Isle de Celeste protecting the House of the Nazarene.”

“I see. That request might not be as easy as you think. The computer program in the Sentinel Satellite was programmed over three thousand years ago using an antiquated technology.”

Knowing this, the Duchess dug deep into her revengeful plot.

“It should be easy enough for your brilliant scientists to develop a step-down program, one that could interact with the old system.”

She was pleased to see him ponder the idea and eventually slowly nod. She then added,

“Also, I would need something to get around in, say one of your vehicles. A small one will do just fine.”

Without knowing the treachery of the Duchess, thinking only that she would prevent Maria from helping the Anunnaki take over a planet that by right was theirs, the old Gray nodded and said,

“I will grant you those two wishes.”

As the Duchess set a proud and hurried pace out of the office, an assistant entered. He was concerned, saying,

“You should not have returned her to Earth without consultation of the Council?”

  It was a bland response.

“There is no doubt that she is deceitful. However, I do not want anybody as evil as her on our planet. Let her die and be buried among the heathens of her own kind, not in our consecrated soil.”

“But you broke our law by giving her a computer program to control the Sentinel Satellite. What of the vehicle she asked for? Should you have granted that as well?”

A smirk flashed across his face.

“One does not always get what one wishes for.”

  Chapter 4

It was noon before Maria’s hectic morning finally slowed down. She went to the school to pick up Belle who was waiting at the front door. Belle was talking to Robert, saying,

“I promise we can play when I come back from visiting my Grandmother, okay.”

Robert released a sorrowful, “Okay,” and then ran off to the playground.

Santo was in the hangar stowing suitcases into the D-wing and going through the final pre-trip. Flight Controller Jorgen Bostrum, a young man of Swedish heritage approached and asked for the flight plan and registry.

Jorgen returned to his control office to begin flight departure procedures. Although Captain Santo Martinez was Second in Command of Security to the House of the Nazarene, Waldorf Hismanal was still the ultimate authority in such matters. For this reason, Jorgen sat at his computer to confirm Santo’s departure authorization. Upon confirmation, he contacted the Sentinel Satellite and entered the D-wing registration codes allowing for a safe departure off the island.

A few minutes later Maria and Belle arrived eager for the holiday to begin. As the D-wing only had two seats, after Maria sat in the passenger seat, Santo picked up Belle and put her on her mother’s lap. After a final check with Jorgen to confirm island departure approval, they lifted off. Maria cast a final glance out the cockpit window and saw in the distance the artificial cloud concealing the Sentinel Satellite. She said,

“I’ve always feared that damn thing.”

Belle was quick to draw attention to an impropriety.

  “Mommy swore again.”

Santo, in reply to Maria’s fear, tried once again to defend the guardian satellite.

“It’s a perfectly safe technology. It is only there to protect the House of the Nazarene against an invasion.”

Santo piloted the D-wing straight up to the lower stratosphere. A conventional flight path over the Mediterranean Sea to the Amazon Jungle would be due west but then again the D-wing was not a conventional airplane. The Grays, when leaving Earth and returning to their own planet left the Delta Wings with the House of the Nazarene. If seen by the public, they would report a small flying saucer. Although they have camouflage capability, it was not a complete cloak of invisibility. As Waldorf explained to Santo, “If you stared really hard at it, changes are you would see a slight flut
tering of the image.” They fly using hull gravity shielding. Because Santo needed a simplistic none technical explanation, Waldorf attempted a basic clarification. He said,

  “It works by manipulating gravity.”

Santo thought that was technical enough.

Because of the rotation of the Earth, the computer guidance system took advantage of Orbital Rotation Speed setting a course east, over China and the South Pacific Ocean. Once in the stratosphere, on the lower orbital path, Maria thought she could catch her breath, relax, and go over her lecture notes. That was until Belle asked,

“Mom. The last time I was with Grandma Liana, she told me how you found her in the jungle when she was only a little girl. She said that you and daddy helped return her to her people, the tribe of the Sky People.”

Maria put down her lecture notes and seemed pleased to reply,

“That’s right honey. When I found her ten years ago, she was just a twelve year old girl lost in the jungle. At the beginning, because she would talk to me, I named her Belle, French for beautiful. However, when you came along you were so beautiful that I named you after her. ”

Belle however was still confused and asked,

“But now she is really old. How is it possible that you are just ten years older and she is now so old?”

Maria turned to Santo and saw that he was listening. He turned to her, produced a proud grin and said,

“It’s your own fault for producing a child prodigy. If she had my genes she would be asking how a Ground-to-Air Missile locates a target, certainly not to explain Dimensional Time Dilation.”

All he got for his attempted joviality was a pretended sneer.
